.….describes him as an Enigma

Senator representing Ogun Central Senatorial District, Shuaib Afolabi Salisu, has described Chief Olusegun Osoba as an enigma, torchbearer, and embodiment of Egba’s proud heritage and Ogun State Standard of Excellence.

In statement he personally issued on Saturday to mark Chief Osoba’s birthday, he heartily congratulates the Akinrogun of Egbaland and former governor of Ogun State.

Baba is a political leader of national renown, a great mentor, builder with tireless commitment to public service. His enviable reputation as a veteran journalist and the second civilian governor of our dear State, has endeared him to many and earned him an enviable position in the list of select few who are truly statesmen indeed. Not only is he a worthy son and leader of Egbaland, but he also remains a torchbearer and pillar of our politics in Ogun State and the Nation in general.

His tenure as Ogun State Governor was marked by significant achievements and transformative policies that have shaped the lives of countless individuals.

Beyond his political achievements, Baba Osoba’s genuine compassion and ability to connect with people on a personal level set him apart. He is always accessible, approachable, and ready to listen to the concerns of the people, making them feel valued and heard. I am proud to have the honour of being associated with and of representing him and indeed our Senatorial District in the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Therefore, I pray that Baba’s special day be filled with abundant joy, good health, and even greater accomplishments. May your days be long, sir, to remain a source of inspiration to the succeeding generations.”

Happy Birthday, Baba!Happy Birthday, Akinrogun of Egbaland!!Happy Birthday, Our Torchbearer!!!
