Abdulsalam paid tribute to his mentor and principal, Mayor Olufemi Akanbi Okeowo, whose trust and guidance, he said, had laid the foundation for this honor. “Mayor Okeowo’s visionary leadership and mentorship have been a constant source of inspiration. He also extended his gratitude to Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu for his transformational leadership in Lagos State. “His administration continues to inspire progress and innovation, serving as a beacon of excellence for governance across the state,” he noted.
Acknowledging the contributions of the Hon. Kolade Alabi-led Conference57 Chairmen, Abdulsalam described them as “authentic grassroots managers” whose leadership has fostered unity and progress across Lagos’ 20 Local Government Areas and 37 Local Council Development Areas.
Abdulsalam pledged to build on the legacy of excellence established by his predecessors, including Tunde Akere, Owolabi “Ajimomuya” Oseni, and Ayodele Ayeyemi, whom he lauded for their innovative and transformative leadership. “Their visionary leadership has set a strong foundation, and I am honored to follow in their footsteps,” he remarked.
He assured his colleagues in Conference57 of his dedication to fostering unity, professionalism, and innovation. “Together, we will strengthen our association, set new benchmarks for governance support, and ensure that Conference57 CPS remains a beacon of excellence in communication across Lagos State and beyond,” he added.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by dignitaries, colleagues, and stakeholders from across Lagos State. Abdulsalam expressed heartfelt appreciation to everyone who attended, noting that their presence and support made the occasion truly special.
