The All Progressives Congress APC presidential and gubernatorial candidates, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, will be coasting home to victory in the early hours of the February 25th and Saturday, 11 March 2023 general elections as Nigerians living in West African countries have vowed to give the duo over Seven Hundred and Seventy Thousand block votes.
The coordinators of the West African countries met with the Director of the Directorate of Diaspora Matters of the Tinubu-Shettima/Sanwo-Olu-Hamzat Independent Campaign Council ICC who is also the incumbent Executive Chairman of the Ifelodun Local Council Development Area, Mayor Olufemi Akanbi Okeowo, at the conference room of the council, where they made the assurances that they are willing to support Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu with block votes.
They said all plans have been put in place to receive Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima, at the Cotonou Stadium, on February 10th, 2023, and will massively mobilize eligible Nigerian voters with permanent voters cards in the West African countries to come into the country to vote for Tinubu and Shettima.
The coordinators during the meeting restated that the country needs an “experienced torchbearer” to guide it through the doors of security, prosperity, and greatness.
They also emphasized that his experience as Lagos State Governor where he transformed the state into one of the leading economies in Africa places him in the best position to help achieve this with Shettima and they are fully ready to render needed support through their votes.
In attendance are Deputy Director of the ICC Diaspora Directorate, Engr Bola Babarinde, coordinator general of the West African countries, Alhaji Adebowale Adeyemo; deputy coordinator, Hon. Prince Obilade Akinloye; secretary-general, Alhaji Lawal Usuman; Ivory Coast coordinator, Hon. Samiu; assistant coordinator (Benin), Dr. Mrs. Patrick; assistant coordinator (Ghana), Hon. Ibrahim Folawiyo.
Others are Hon. Adegboyega Yusuf, Princess Deborah, Chief Owolabi Olatunji, Alhaji Shakiru, Saadu Akeem, Alhaji Tunde Olutunde Adelowo.
