APC Governorship Aspirants In Kogi and Bayelsa To Pay N22.5Million

Intending governorship aspirants in the forthcoming Kogi and Bayelsa states governorship election will have to pay a total sum of N22.5M.

According to a statement released by its National Organising Secretary, Emma Ibediro the Expression of Interest goes for N2.5m while the nomination form is N20m.

The forms would be on sale from today, Wednesday 10th, July and all completed forms are expected to be submitted no later than August 21, 2019.

The fees also cover the charges for the deputy of each candidate.

In addition, the party also said female aspirants would pick their forms at a 50% discount.

The statement said, “There shall be no separate charges for deputy. Female and physically challenged aspirants (get) 50 per cent of the prescribed fees for each position.

“All payments should be made in full directly into the designated bank accounts of the All Progressives Congress,”

The primary elections for the parties in both states are to hold by August 29, 2019
