APC NATIONAL WORKING COMMITTEE ANNOUNCES ZONING FOR LEADERSHIP OF 1OTH NATIONAL ASSEMBLY

The National Working Committee Of The All Progressives Congress after its meeting earlier today announced zoning arrangements for the leadership of the 10th National Assembly

It said in a statement released that after considerations of it’s meetings with the President Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, other party leaders and stakeholders have concluded on zoning the National Assembly leadership positions.

It further said that the National Working Committee noted with respect that the outcomes of the meetings with the President Elect, party leaders and stakeholders would need further consultations necessary stakeholders in order to assure the support of the aspirants.

The zoning arrangement are
Senate President ( South South) Senator Godswill Akpabio – Akwa Ibom
Deputy Senate President ( North West) Senator Barau Jibrin – Kano

Speaker of the House Of Representatives ( North West) Hon. Abbas Tajudeen – Kaduna
Deputy Speaker ( South East) Hon Ben Kalu.

The National Working Committee said it urged party leaders , members and all Nigerians to continue to work for the peace and progress of the country during and beyond the transition period.
