APC Secures Victory, Wins Edo State Governorship Election

In a significant win for the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Monday Okpebholo and his running mate, Hon. Dennis Idahosa, have emerged victorious in the 2024 Edo State Governorship Election. The APC candidates secured a total of 291,667 votes while the PDP got 246,645 votes solidifying the leadership mandate of the APC.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced the results after the completion of collation, confirming that the APC duo garnered widespread support across various local government areas. This victory underscores the party’s continued influence in the political landscape of Edo State.

As the newly elected governor, Sen. Okpebholo is expected to bring his legislative experience to the forefront of governance, while Hon. Idahosa, a well-respected leader, will serve as a key figure in the administration’s vision for development and prosperity in Edo State.
