In a tragic turn of events, Nigerian Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, representing Anambra South and a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has passed away. Reliable sources indicate that Senator Ubah died in a hotel in London, United Kingdom, just two days after his arrival in the city.

The senator’s death was confirmed in a group chat of his fellow senators, who have begun to express their condolences and tributes for their fallen colleague.

Senator Ubah’s passing comes on the heels of a significant contribution to the APC in Anambra State. His campaign council recently donated a total of N71 million to the party, a move aimed at strengthening the APC’s presence and operational capacity in the region. Of this donation, Senator Ubah personally contributed N50 million, underscoring his dedication to the party’s growth and success.

Despite the outpouring of tributes from his peers, the Senate has yet to release an official statement regarding the incident. The news of his death is expected to send ripples through the political landscape of Anambra State and beyond, as Senator Ubah was known for his commitment to his constituents and his party.
