I wish to present to all progressives in the United Kingdom the formal letter above from APC HQ, Abuja officially recognising and confirming APC UK Interim National Working Committee.

The 22 officials listed in the letter have been appointed by the Party Leadership to execute the running of APC UK Chapter in a Caretaker Committee capacity with a mandate to conduct a valid election to elect the Chapter’s substantive Executive.

This recognition which is well overdue and hard fought for must be seen by all Progressives as a victory for all of us having all worked collectively for it for almost a decade.

With this harmonised list as compiled by the Party’s leadership, I believe it is time for us to embrace peaceful coexistence and consign the past into the scrap heap of history and forge ahead with new vigour and determination to make APC UK Chapter work for all of us.

Being in a campaign season, the forthcoming elections are very crucial for many reasons, one of which is the need to ensure a smooth transition from President Buhari to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to ensure continuity of the solid foundation being laid by the Party and this administration.

This therefore call for harmonisation of all our campaign activities including those of the Tinubu/Shettima support groups in the UK with a view to ensuring a landslide victory for our Principal and APC at all levels of the forthcoming elections.

APC UK Chapter will continue to be an all-inclusive party ready to accommodate all Progressives in our quest to continue to support Tinubu/Shettima ticket, APC and the government of the day. As we have been unrelenting in our support for the Party since the inception of the APC UK Chapter on 4th June 2013, this official recognition has further enhanced our resolve to continue to propagate the progressive ideals of the Party and sensitisation as well as education of Nigerians at home and in Diaspora on the need to continue to believe in the Party and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Action Plan which derives from his vision for Nigeria.

As we prepare for the APC UK Congress, I wish to reiterate that our doors are always open and call on all Progressives in the UK to join hands with us on the journey of further strengthening APC UK Chapter to make it more formidable than ever.

We shall convene our inaugural meeting in the next couple of days to kick-start the mandate given to us by the Party and all officials listed above will be contacted regarding that in due course.

Forward ever, backward never.

Long Live APC UK Chapter! Long Live Nigeria!!

J K Adebola mnim, mcicn Chairman APC UK Interim NWC.
