The Diaspora Directorate of the Asiwaju Shettima Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) held its pre-inaugural meeting on Thursday, October 6th 2022 at the National Campaign Secretariat, Abuja, Nigeria.

Prince Ade Omole, Director of the Diaspora Directorate (DD) chaired the meeting which had a number of Nigeria Diaspora leaders, APC members and support group coordinators in attendance.

Before the meeting, Prince Omole met with the Director General (DG) of the PCC, H.E. Governor Simon Bako Lalong and Deputy Director General (DDG), H.E. Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole. The terms of reference for the directorate include overall coordination of Diaspora campaign activities, including but not limited to drawing up a worldwide campaign timetable, itinerary and liaison with all Diaspora support groups to deliver on its mandate.

“The directorate will reach out to all our Diaspora progressives and mobilise Nigerians in the Diaspora to reach out to their families and peers in Nigeria. Asiwaju Tinubu is a household name and a sellable personality with an excellent track record. We cannot afford to miss such an opportunity to rebuild our great country, Nigeria” said Prince Ade Omole

He further said “Nigeria may not be where it ought to be but it certainly is not where it used to be. The Buhari-led administration has laid a solid foundation for the future. The Diaspora Directorate will galvanise Nigerians in the Diaspora to convince their peers, friends, and family back home to support the APC and its Presidential Candidate in the 2023 election.”
