The Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority (OORBDA), Abeokuta, has announced the appointment of Mr. Ayobami Feyisetan Oyalowo as its new Executive Director of Finance.

Mr. Oyalowo brings to this role over 25 years of rich experience in banking and finance, underscored by his exceptional expertise in economic policy analysis, communication, and people management. A highly accomplished professional, he is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Political Economy and Development Studies. He also holds a Master of Science degree in the same field from the University of Abuja and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Ilorin.

Throughout his illustrious career, Mr. Oyalowo has served in key managerial capacities in prominent financial institutions, including UBA Capital and Trust Ltd, Guaranty Trust Bank, and Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc. His leadership abilities were further demonstrated during his tenure as the Head of Stakeholder Relations at the Nigeria Incentive-Based Risk Sharing System for Agricultural Lending (NIRSAL Plc), where he played a pivotal role in fostering productive partnerships and enhancing organizational impact.

Ab indigene of Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Mr. Oyalowo’s professional accomplishments are complemented by his deep commitment to economic development and public service. His appointment is expected to inject robust financial expertise and visionary leadership into OORBDA’s operations, ensuring the authority continues to fulfill its mandate of fostering sustainable development across Ogun and Osun states.

Stakeholders have expressed confidence in Mr. Oyalowo’s ability to deliver results and drive the financial arm of the agency toward greater efficiency and impact.
