The Governor Of Lagos State, Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu has reappointed Mr Toyin Aremu has Senior Special Assistant On Transportation.
Mr Toyin Aremu, a businessman, public affairs analyst and consultant is an influential and youthful public figure from Mushin Local Government with experience and expertise cutting across private and public sectors while demonstrating competence in previous political capacities in the grassroots and state level.
Born in the 80s into the family of Chief and Mrs Joseph Sunday Aremu, Honourable Toyin Babatunde Aremu had his primary education at Christ School, secondary education at Christian Comprehensive High Schools and Saint Timothy College, Onike, Yaba, Lagos.
Hon Toyin Aremu had previously contested the chairmanship election in Mushin Local Government as well as the State House of Assembly election for Mushin Constituency II in 2019 and 2023. He was also Chairman of the Tinubu Support Organisation (TSO), Mushin LGA and Secretary, Tradesmen and Artisans Directorate, Tinubu- Shettima/ Sanwoolu-Hamzat Independent Campaign Group.
The quintessential technocrat with HND in Marketing, Kwara State Polytechnic, PGD in Public Relations,Nigerian Institute of Journalism, Bsc in Business administration at Southwestern University, Masters In Public Administration, National Open University of Nigeria, Masters In Business Administration, Joseph Ayo Babalola University.
Mr Toyin Aremu is the Chief Executive Officer Of GLASS EXPERTS and TOYPAZ ESSENTIAL SERVICES LTD, he was first appointed as SSA On Transportation to Governor Babajide Sanwoolu between December 1st, 2022 to May 25th, 2023 before his reappointment to same office.
During his stint as SSA On Transportation, Toyin Aremu transformed and elevated transportation systems in Lagos with effective ease of movement of people with creating better road user and commuter experience for Lagosians that earned him Southwest Achievement Award for improvement in professional conduct for effective traffic management with a view of reducing traffic congestion and enhancing safe and secure mobility for Lagosians.
Governor Babajide Sanwoolu through this appointment continues to demonstrate and reiterate his stance and confidence in the competence of young people to drive the culture of excellence in public service of Lagos State.
