The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State has returned Hon. Cornelius Ojelabi as the State Chairman for another term, following a successful and well-attended State Party Congress held at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena today.

The congress, which drew party faithful, delegates, stakeholders and leaders from across the 20 Local Government Areas and 37 Local Council Development Areas of the state, reaffirmed the confidence of members in Ojelabi’s leadership and strategic direction.

Hon. Ojelabi’s re-election is widely seen as a testament to his stewardship, party cohesion efforts, and his role in consolidating the APC’s dominance in Lagos politics. Under his leadership, the party has maintained structural stability, strengthened grassroots mobilization, and sustained electoral victories across various polls in the state.
Governor of Lagos State, Governor Babajide Sanwoolu and party leaders at the congress commended the transparent and peaceful conduct of the exercise, describing it as a reflection of internal democracy and unity within the Lagos APC fold.


They expressed optimism that the renewed mandate would further reposition the party ahead of future political engagements.
In his acceptance remarks, Ojelabi thanked delegates and party leaders for the trust reposed in him, pledging to deepen inclusiveness, enhance reconciliation efforts, and strengthen the party’s structure from the ward to the state level.


The congress concluded with a resounding show of solidarity among members, reinforcing Lagos APC’s resolve to remain a formidable political force in the state and beyond.
