The Federal Government has announced an increase in its proposed minimum wage from N48,000 to N54,000. Despite this adjustment, a significant gap remains between the government’s offer and the demands of the Labour union, which is advocating for a minimum wage of N615,000.

Negotiations continue as both parties strive to reach a consensus.
