Erstwhile Acting Inspector General of Police, Adamu Mohammed has been fully confirmed at the New Inspector General of Police.
Adamu who had been in appointed in acting capacity from January 15, 2019 was fully confirmed as the IG by President Muhammed Buhari.
The confirmation was held at the police council meeting presided over by Buhari. He thus decorated the new IG with the insignia of his new post.
Mr Mohammed was appointed in the acting capacity on Jan. 15, when he took over from former IGP, Ibrahim Idris.
