Charles Oputa also known as Charly Boy narrowly escaped a mob action at the Wuse Market in Abuja after taking the Buhari #ResumeOrResign to the popular market on Tuesday.

Charly Boy and members of his team were reportedly attacked by supporters of President Muhammadu Buhari within the market. The attack according to reports became a full scale inter-tribal clash with Hausa and Igbos within the market attacking each other.

Eye-witness accounts indicate that Charly Boy had initially been denied access to the market by the security at the gate, however he insisted on going in saying he wanted to make purchases within the market.

However on being granted entry with his team, he commenced his talk on President Buhari which the Hausa Traders in the market took offence at and decided to attack him and his team.

The attack became a full scale mob action and reports indicate that Charly Boy barely escaped being lynched by his attackers, as the police quickly came to his rescue.

The incident further degenerated into the Hausas and the Igbos facing off against each other with the violence spilling off into the surrounding streets

As a result of the chaos the security agents had to close down the market.
