The Conference 57 Chief Press Secretaries (Conf. 57 CPS) has congratulated Ayodele Ayeyemi, NIPR, on his election as the President of the Grassroots Media Practitioners Council of Nigeria. His emergence has been widely celebrated as a significant step towards strengthening grassroots journalism in Nigeria.

In a statement signed by the Chairman of Conf. 57 CPS, Kamaldeen Iyanda Abdulsalam, the group commended Ayeyemi’s dedication to the media profession and expressed confidence in his ability to steer the Council towards impactful reforms and greater recognition.

Ayeyemi, a former Chairman of Conf. 57 CPS, has been instrumental in promoting ethical journalism and fostering unity among media professionals at the grassroots level. His tenure in Conf. 57 CPS was marked by initiatives aimed at strengthening media advocacy, capacity building, and promoting accurate reportage.
