Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu

Huge congratulations to our amiable Governor, Mr Babajide Olushola Sanwo-Olu, on his second-term bid unanimously approved by the overwhelming votes from the good people of Lagos State.

Indeed, it was a massive win for our emerging democracy and, by extension, Lagos State. That said, as witnessed in the last four years, the re-elected Sanwo-Olu administration is pumped up to fulfil the promises made during the campaigns for his reelection, starting from the completion of the ongoing projects within and around the cosmopolitan state.

New ones inevitably beckon, as plans to construct the Fourth Mainland Bridge linking Lekki through Ikoyi right up to the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway while the Red and Blue Lines of the light rails would be commissioned, provided alongside more BRT buses and LagFerries for better interconnectivity of the planned intermodal transportation network complete with flyover bridges coming up in Fagba and other environs to ease traffic and mobility for Lagosians.

New Mother and Child, Psychiatric and General Hospitals for quality healthcare, State of The Art educational facilities for the newly established State Universities and continuous improvement of primary and secondary schools with policies and programmes put in place for youth inclusiveness are part of more major projects earmarked across the state particularly to consolidate his sterling achievements in his first term in office,  give the state a facelift and sustain it’s excellent path of development are being set in motion.

We, therefore, crave the cooperation of citizens and residents of Lagos State, knowing full well that it is pivotal to the general development of the state.

Long live Nigeria!Long live Lagos State!Long live The All Progressives Congress!

–Toyin Aremu, SSA to the Lagos State Government on Transportation.
