The founder of Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti, Aare Afe Babalola, have advised and charged the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, to take serious decisions after assuming office to effect the desired changes Nigerians want to see.

As ABUAD founder advised that the Tinubu administration should prioritise debt forgiveness for Nigeria from creditor countries and other financial institutions, Rev. Felix Ajakaye of Ado Ekiti also urged the incoming government to reduce the high cost of governance to free cash for development and other needs.

Afe Babalola who spoke in Ado Ekiti on Saturday during a lecture titled, “Smart Infrastructure: Catalyst for sustainable development,” and delivered by a Professor of Intelligent Infrastructure System at University of Manchester, Prof Bamidele Adebisi, said forgiveness or cancellation would help relieve Nigeria of humongous foreign debts.
