We the Chapter Chairmen of Diaspora Chapters of our esteemed ruling All Progressives Congress APC in Africa, Europe and South America which include the following registered chapters with the national secretariat of our great party: South Africa, Republic of Benin, Togo, Burkina Faso, Code De’voire, Lesotho and Namibia, Germany, Ireland, UK, Kazakhstan and Canada during our meeting held on August 1, 2023 hereby unanimously endorse Otunba Oluwatoyin Oyekanmi as the National Secretary of the party.
The national leader of the APC and President of the country recently noted that the future of the party belongs to Nigeria’s young people and women, considering their proven dedication and demonstrable prowess in election matters and charged APC to embrace inclusivity when he said “our party also needs to be more gender and youth friendly that we need more participation from the youths because they own our tomorrow. Let’s get more youths and women involved. They are very dedicated election masters.”
We as leaders of the ruling party in our respective Diaspora Chapters have done our due diligence on this young, vibrant, pragmatic, unassuming, dedicated, resourceful young man and came to the conclusion by our conviction that he will appease the majority of our members which are mostly of the youth demography and the Nigerians in Diaspora, being a Christian and an indigene of Osun State in Western Nigeria where the position is zoned to, his commitment, resilience, energetic and love for his country is the best choice and perfect candidate at this moment for the all important office of the National Secretary of our party.
He represents the demographics that our party seeks to give a sense of belonging and would play an important role in bridge building as a refreshing innovative personality that would appeal to the Youth, Christian and Diaspora segments of our party while also symbolizing our party as the equal opportunity platform for actualization of aspirations irrespective of age, place of residence and religion.
Otunba Oluwatoyin Oyekanmi is the best choice for the Party and Country as the National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
