After exhaustive deliberations, the following resolutions were reached:

– The President of Nigeria, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, has pledged a commitment to establish a National Minimum Wage exceeding N60,000.
2. Continuous Negotiation
– To expedite the agreement on the new minimum wage, the Tripartite Committee on National Minimum Wage will meet daily for the next week.
3. Labour’s Response:
– In respect of the President’s commitment, the Organised Labour will immediately convene a meeting to deliberate on this new development.
4. Protection Against Victimization:
– It has been assured that no worker will face retaliation or victimization due to their participation in the industrial action.
This pivotal meeting underscores the Federal Government’s dedication to addressing the concerns of the workforce while balancing national interests. The resolutions aim to foster a collaborative approach towards resolving the minimum wage impasse and ensure the protection of workers’ rights.
