Nigeria’s former minister of justice, Olu Onagoruwa dies aged 80 years
Dr. Onagoruwa, a foremost lawyer who spent a large part of his active years as a human rights activist served as as Attorney-General of the Federation under the military government of Sani Abacha between 1993 and 1994.
The highly revered lawyer had gone through some serious travails having lost his son Toyin Onagoruwa, who was killed brutally in December 1996. He suffered a serious health challenge shortly after which was further compounded by the death of his wife some years after.
He reportedly died on the morning of friday, 21st of July, 2017.
