Governor Sanwo-Olu Appoints Dr. Tobi Adekoya As SSA On Administration

In a significant move to strengthen the Lagos State Public Service, Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has approved the appointment of Dr. Tobi Adekoya as the Senior Special Assistant (Administration). The appointment, which took effect on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, was announced in an official statement signed by the Head of Service, Mr. Bode Agoro.

The statement highlighted that Dr. Adekoya’s elevation to this pivotal role was a testament to his outstanding track record within the public service. Mr. Agoro underscored Adekoya’s diligence, intellectual capacity, and unwavering commitment to efficient service delivery, noting that these qualities had earned him the Governor’s trust for the new responsibility.

The Head of Service expressed his confidence in Dr. Adekoya’s ability to bring positive contributions to the Governor’s administration, adding that his background as one of the pioneer Fellows of the Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy (LJLA) demonstrated his leadership potential and capacity for governance.

As the newly appointed Senior Special Assistant on Administration, Dr. Adekoya is expected to play a vital role in ensuring the seamless coordination and administration of public service activities in the state. His appointment is seen as part of Governor Sanwo-Olu’s broader strategy to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Lagos State’s public institutions.

Mr. Agoro concluded by wishing Dr. Adekoya a fulfilling and impactful tenure in his new position, emphasizing that the state government looks forward to his continued dedication to excellence in service delivery.
