A group, Edo Professionals in Diaspora has thrown its weight behind the mandate renewal of Hon. Peter Akpatason with the donation of N2M to support the purchase of the party’s nomination and expression of interest form.

According to the group, its donation indicates its commitment to the return of Hon. Akptason, who represents Akoko Edo in the House of Reps, following their satisfaction with his representation.

Engr. Sanni David (MNSE) and Mr. Arowolo Sunday Ehabahe while announcing the donation on behalf of the group said, “as friends and professionals from Akoko-Edo, we have decided to put together a token of N2m to support and encourage our brother and legislator, Comrade Peter Akpatason as he prepares to continue his impactful representation of our constituency.”

“Hon. Akpatason’s representation has brought about meaningful change and progress in Akoko Edo and we don’t want him to waste any time in purchasing the nomination and expression of interest form of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for service continuation.”

“As professionals, we are particularly pleased with his broad infrastructure investments which have contributed to the ease of doing business in the constituency, stimulated the local economy, and created opportunities for the engagement of young people.”

“We are also aware that a renewal of his mandate presents our constituency a real opportunity to enjoy a climb in the leadership hierarchy of the National Assembly, a development that would place us at a vantage point to enjoy greater investments and federal attention.”
