As mental health awareness continues to gain momentum across Nigeria, one organization has emerged as a powerful voice of hope, healing and empowerment, The SafeHub Initiative, founded by mindshift coach and mental health advocate Bisola Olatunji.

With its upcoming “Walk for Mental Health Awareness”, The SafeHub Initiative is taking its advocacy from the digital space to the streets, uniting young people, mental health professionals, and community champions in a collective call for compassion and consciousness. Themed “Healing Minds. Empowering Youth. Transforming Communities,” the walk is designed to inspire open dialogue, reduce stigma, and remind Nigerians that mental wellness is just as vital as physical health.
Since its founding in 2024 and incorporation in 2025, The SafeHub Initiative has become a beacon for individuals seeking emotional support and personal growth. Through programs such as the MindShift Webinar Series, A Pad for a Girl outreach, Back to School Drive in Agboyi Kingdom, and the Children’s Day Funfair at the Nigerian Red Cross Baby’s Home, the organization has reached hundreds of lives with empathy and practical care.
Reflecting on the journey, founder Bisola Olatunji shared, “Every outreach reminds us that mental health advocacy goes beyond talk. It’s about creating real, safe spaces where people can heal, grow, and feel seen.”
Looking ahead, SafeHub is preparing to deepen its impact through new initiatives including Healing Circles, Mental Health School Outreach, and the MindShift Youth Empowerment Summit 2026. Each program is a step toward building a generation that values wellbeing and self-awareness.
“We are walking for every person who has ever felt unseen, unheard or misunderstood, to remind them that they are not alone.” said Dr. Omoruwa German, Project Director of The SafeHub Initiative.

Through action-driven advocacy and a compassionate approach, The SafeHub Initiative continues to transform communities, one healed mind, one empowered youth, and one meaningful conversation at a time.
