Will a tree die if it is disconnected from its roots? What of a river that is disconnected from its source?…… Yes, no matter how big a tree is, once it is disconnected from its roots it will eventually die and as for the lagerest river, once it is also disconnected from its source it will definitely dry.
NB- this is not just about Yoruba, but about all other native languages that we label as vernacular to diminish ourselves. Why do we do that to ourselves? To gain what? Let’s think about and make a change.
