In a debate for Defence spending, Badenoch pushed Starmer for specifics. As the sparring between the leaders continued, it descended quickly – the PM accused Badenoch of being “desperate for relevance” by seeing herself as “saviour of Western civilization” which she countered as “patronising”.
One has read a lot of malicious narratives on the comments of Keir Stammer, the Labour Party Prime Minister, on our own Kemi Badenoch, the current leader of the Conservative Party.

Since that exchange, Kemi’s detractors have been swimming in the pool of inglorious celebration of PM Stammer ‘s comment as a destruction of Kemi’s carrier and a gloating that it serves her right!
This is an exudation of profound hollowness and amazing mental slavery, on the part of such detractors.
When the British invaded our land, claiming that they were here to civilise us, it was acquiesced to as being normal. But when Kemi is in UK, (assuming that is correct which would not be a bad thing anyways given the geometric decadence of the Western civilization) to rescue the so-called Western civilization, she is deemed “desperate” and looking for “relevance.”
For any Nigerian to buy that and jump on it to mock Kemi, is miserable display of mental slavery.
The calcified thinking process of such mentally enslaved Nigerians, the dubious patriots who are reeling from the pain of Kemi’s identification with her Yorubaness and her rejection of an amorphous, amoebic, convoluted, confused, contused and corrugated country called Nigeria, have shackled them in anger and celebration of mere bumps as searing obstacles for Kemi. Their malicious anger would not avail them the opportunity for depth and vast analysis of the subsisting dynamics and the historical context in which Kemi is functioning. These mentally enslaved Nigerians are irretrievably cocooned in their howling hollowness and shadowy shallowness to vaunt putrid narratives to make nonsense sensible.
Moreso, there are plenty of evidence that the exchange that is being deliriously dignified by the mentally enslaved Nigerians to attack Kemi is just a run of the mill in the UK politics.
Kemi has not rejected her people. That is false and fatuous. She has embraced her Yoruba heritage, history and origin. She is proud of her Yoruba roots. She has only rejected the falsehood about being part of Nigeria.
She is not the only one who is disgusted with Nigeria. Millions of Yorùbá agree with her. Millions of Northerners agree with her. Millions of South southerners agree with her. Millions of Easterners agree with her. So, what is the beef? Malice. Envy. Jealousy. And what else?
Watching the video clip of PM Stammer where he made the comment, he came across as a scared cat. He was afraid of Kemi Badenoch. His demeanor was evident of jitters. He appeared rapped in the drape of ominous omen that is signalling the end of his political career. Rather than Kemi being “desperate,” it is Stammer that is fearfully desperate and anxious about his own political future.
Speaking about Kemi being the “saviour of Western civilization”, that is a good development. At a point in History, Stammer’s forefathers came to “civilise” us in Africa. There is nothing wrong in reciprocating a “good gesture.” Kemi doesn’t need his approval to “civilise” the West, because Stammer’s ancestors did not get any approval from our own ancestors before they embarked on the so-called “civilization” of Africa.
Those mentally enslaved Nigerians who are still peeved by Kemi’s rejection of Nigeria could not and would not be able to change her destiny. Kemi embraced her Yoruba heritage. She is very proud of being Yorùbá. She is a heroine to millions of Yorùbá people across the planet. We as Yoruba are very proud of her. No matter the bellyaching and malicious detracting, Kemi is fulfilling her destiny. Whether she eventually becomes the PM or not would not detract from her place in History. She would not be the first one or the last , if she did not become the PM.
Hopefully, Kemi Badenoch would visit Yorùbá land very soon. The reception would be marvellous. She would be celebrated as a proud Yoruba daughter. A lady of substance in her own right.
Long live Kemi Badenoch.
