LAGOS APC TO HOLD STAKEHOLDERS’ MEETING AHEAD OF COUNCIL PRIMARIES

The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) will on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, hold a Stakeholders’ Meeting as part of ongoing preparations for the forthcoming Local Government elections in the state.

The meeting, convened by the Lagos APC Electoral Committee, will take place at the State Party Secretariat, Acme Road, Ogba, Ikeja, and will commence at 10:00 AM.

According to a statement jointly signed by Babatunde Ogala (SAN), Chairman of the State Electoral Committee, and Nurudeen Bamidele, Secretary of the Committee, the meeting will bring together prominent party stakeholders from across the state’s political structure.

Those invited to attend include:

  • Prince Tajudeen Oluyole Olusi
  • Chairmen of the 57 Local Government Areas and Local Council Development Areas (LGAs/LCDAs)
  • All three serving Senators from Lagos State
  • All APC members of the House of Representatives representing Lagos State
  • All APC members of the Lagos State House of Assembly
  • Apex Leaders across the 57 LGAs/LCDAs
  • Chairmanship aspirants cleared by the Party’s Screening Committee
  • Outgoing Council Chairmen
  • Members of the State Executive Council of the Party

The meeting is aimed at aligning strategies, fostering unity, and reinforcing the party’s commitment to a transparent and credible process in the forthcoming primary elections.

The Lagos APC Electoral Committee emphasizes that the Stakeholders’ Meeting is of critical importance and urges all invited persons to attend promptly and punctually.
