LAGOS CONF. 57 CPS GETS NEW EXECUTIVES; COMMEND COUNCIL CHAIRMEN FOR CONTINUOUS IMPACT

The Conference 57 Chief Press Secretaries, Lagos State, has inaugurated new executives to steer the affairs of the association.

Comr. Kamaldeen Iyanda Abdulsalam, the newly inaugurated Chairman, will lead the team of executives which includes:

– Ayorinde Akadiri – Deputy Chairman

– Olushoga Olushola – Vice Chairman Central

– Onanuga Ayotunde – Vice Chairman East

– Oseni Eniola – Vice Chairman West

– Tunmise Sanyaolu – General Secretary

– Jubril Idris – Assistant General Secretary

– Mosunmola Olabige – Financial Secretary

– Areh Abdulhamid – Treasurer

– Komolafe Ayodele – Public Relations Officer (PRO)

– Abdul-Lateef Abdus-Salaam – PRO 2

– Bello Akinkunmi – Organising Secretary

– Gbenga Soloki – Ex-Officio

– Tokunbo Ajayi – Ex-Officio

– Oluwole Obisanya – Ex-Officio

 

In his remarks, Deputy Chairman Solomon Zosu commended the council chairmen for their continuous impact on the association.

The appointment of these executives was based on a free and fair process, devoid of bias or prejudice. Our selection committee worked tirelessly to identify the most qualified and dedicated individuals at senatorial levels to lead our association forward. He said

“Let us remain committed to the principles of excellence, integrity, and service that have defined our association,” he said.

Zosu also commended Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his vision for a greater Lagos, which has inspired the association to strive for excellence.

More also, I want to, on behalf of the Conf. 57 Chief Press Secretaries, thank our Chief host for today, the Executive Chairman of Ifelodun LCDA, Mayor Olufemi Akanbi Okeowo, whose CPS is taking over the mantle of leadership for the association today. This wouldn’t have been achieved but for your cooperation. We thank you for hosting us too. Zosu said.

 

Mr. Tunde Akere, the Pioneer Conf. 57 CPS while admistering the oath of office advised the new executives to remain focussed.

‘As you assume your new roles, I charge you to remain focused, transparent, and accountable in your decision-making processes. Said Akere.

The new Conf. 57 CPS Chairman, Comr. Kamaldeen Iyanda Abdulsalam, in his inaugural speech, promised to take the association to greater heights.

“We will work tirelessly to promote the interests of our members and the Lagos State Government. We will also strive to maintain the highest standards of professionalism and ethics in our official conduct.” He expressed.

 

 

The inauguration ceremony was attended by dignitaries, including the pioneer of Conf. 57 CPS, Mr. Tunde Akere and BOT Chairman, Odufowokan Oluwaseyi aka Speaker.

Other founding members including Comr. Oseni Ajimomuya, Pioneer Chairman, Conf. 57 CPS, Comr. Tijani Saheed aka Seadorf a member of the BOT and Elders Forum, Mr. Jide Dada, Oyejobi Olajide Olakunle, Opeyemi Azeez, and others who have contributed to the growth and development of the association were all in attendance.
