Many of us got to know him during the independent Campaign Council’s activities for Sanwoolu/ Hamzat gubernatorial reelection and Tinubu/Shettima presidential election, even though some of us had previous relationship with him which we had already spoken well of his character and person that was true to calling as he never disappointed and was also attested to by those just getting to know him as an unassuming jolly good fellow.

Tayo Ayinde’s accommodating, friendly and accessibility spoke volume of him being a grassroot politician that is a blessing and an asset to the Lagos political success.

For his political shrewdness and steadfastness as Campaign Director General, the endSARS turned Obidients opposition members nearly disrupted the trajectory of peace and development of Lagos because of the falsehood propaganda against Lagos and it’s the good accommodating people which the intelligent campaign boss that many affectionately call “Buffalo” strategically and successfully overturned to landslide victory for the party and it’s gubernatorial reelection.

Our Diaspora Directorate in ICC under the leadership of Major Olufemi Akanbi Okeowo with able deputies Mr. Olamiposi Folaju, Princess Adesola Haastrup, Engr. Bola Babarinde and all other Assistants Directors in person of Mr. Fuad Opeagbe, Prince Wahab Oyebola Oluwa and Mrs Mariam Ololade Ariyo with other members such as Mr. Bello Akinkunmi Yakub that all played active roles in campaigning for the success of the candidates which took us to Badagry and Cotonou in Republic of Benin are proud to share in this success story.

Now that you are back in office, we implore you to remember all campaign promises made to Lagosians and never forget or dismiss the overreaching threat of those ungrateful visitors undermining the good people of Lagos political autonomy and spirit of accommodation to avoid reoccurrence in 2027 elections.
