Lagos & Ogun declares holidays for PVC collection.

The Lagos State Government has declared a four-day work-free holiday for public servants to enable them collect their Permanent Voter Cards at their local government, local council development areas in the state in accordance to their registration.

According to the Head of Service, Hakeem Muri-Okunola, who said the state Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, graciously approved the work-free day for the public servants. He further explained that the work-free day would commence on Tuesday, January 24, and end on Friday, January 27, 2023, for different grade levels in the public service.

In the same vein the Ogun State Government has also declared Tuesday, January 24, and Wednesday, 25, as work-free holiday for workers in the state public service. This was revealed through a statement issued at Abeokuta by Kunle Somorin, the Chief Press Secretary to the state Governor Dapo Abiodun.
