The General Manager of the Lagos State Parking Authority (LASPA), Mrs. Adebisi Adelabu, has resumed duties at the office, expressing appreciation for the opportunity to return and continue leading the Agency. Addressing staff, she said she was happy to be back and noted that recent experiences have sent a clear message about the importance of dedication and professionalism.

She encouraged staff to let their work speak for them, emphasizing that excellence and commitment often open doors that may otherwise seem inaccessible. According to her, the work carried out by LASPA is visible to the public, and the community continues to recognize and appreciate the Agency’s efforts.
While noting that the year is already in its third month, Mrs. Adelabu acknowledged that there are still many goals to achieve. She, however, expressed confidence that with teamwork and determination, staff can take on the challenge, break new grounds, and set new records, maintaining the reputation the Parking Authority is known for.
She also highlighted the importance of character and integrity, reminding staff that everyone eventually reaps what they sow. She added that although leadership roles are temporary, she hopes the foundation and systems being built will continue to strengthen the Authority long after her tenure.
Mrs. Adelabu reiterated her vision for LASPA to remain a respected institution despite being relatively young within the government system. She urged staff to support one another and maintain a strong sense of responsibility as colleagues and partners in the Agency’s growth.
She concluded by outlining key operational priorities, including the issuance of demand notices, strengthening enforcement activities, and expanding operations with the opening of the Ikorodu Area Office next week, while work is expected to commence soon at the Lekki and Surulere Area Offices. She added that management, in collaboration with the Human Resources department, will also review certain internal matters aimed at improving the Agency’s operations.
