The sons and daughters of Kwara State in Ifelodun Local Council Development Area and Lagos State at large have made perfect plans to give the presidential candidates of the All Progressives Congress APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, two million votes in the forthcoming general elections slated for 25th February and March 11th, 2023.

The executive chairman of Ifelodun Local Council Development Area, Mayor Olufemi Akanbi Okeowo, made the submissions during a meeting held today inside the hall of his residential house which is situated at Market Street, Alaba, Lagos.

Mayor Okeowo, said that the plans to give the All Progressives Congress APC, bloc votes, is driven by the quest to explore the political strength of the Kwarans residing in Ifelodun LCDA and Lagos State at large was capable of influencing the country’s electoral outcome considering its numerical strength.

He also emphasized that the Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, appreciates the Kwarans for declaring for the APC by mobilizing en mass to his campaign office in January, 2023.

The meeting had in attendance the Secretary to the Local Council of Ifelodun LCDA, Hon. Rasheed Rahamon Lanre; former APC chairman of all chairmen in Ajeromi Ifelodun Local Government, Alhaji Mutallib Ayilara Ojulari, as well as some notable Kwaran leaders in the LCDA.
