Lionel Messi popular Argentine professional footballer who currently plays for Inter Miami at the MLS league has been reported ahead that he will win his eighth Ballon d’Or considering his victory regarding the the recent World Cup.

According Catalan newspaper reports, Messi has been informed of his victory this time ahead of the ceremony which will take place in Paris on Monday, October 30. The Argentine player achieved this crowning glory of his unparalleled career when he spectacularly led Argentina to World Cup glory in Qatar last year.

Messi’s imminent triumph will see the Ballon d’Or awarded to someone who plays outside of Europe for the first time in history. The 36 year old faced fierce competition from Manchester City striker Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe of PSG but he made it to the top considering his heroics roles in Qatar.
