Natasha Osawaru, the new lover of Nigerian singer Tuface, has finally broken her silence on the controversy surrounding the traditional beads worn by the singer. In an interview with Stella Korkus, Natasha addressed the allegations that she used the beads to exert a spiritual hold over Tuface.
According to Natasha, the beads hold significant cultural and sentimental value, being gifts from her family members. She explained that the beads, known as “EZENEKA,” symbolize a princess from a royal family and represent a river that never runs dry. Natasha revealed that one of the beads was given to her by her grandfather, who received it from the Queen of England.
Contrary to claims that she imposed the beads on Tuface, Natasha clarified that the singer willingly wore them because he liked them. She emphasized that the beads are not diabolical and do not contain any juju. Natasha also pointed out that Tuface has always been fond of wearing beads, having worn several before the current ones.
The controversy surrounding the beads began when Tuface’s mother, Rose Idibia, accused Natasha of using the traditional neck and wrist beads to tie her son down spiritually. Rose Idibia claimed that Tuface was under Natasha’s spell, sparking widespread speculation and debate.
By setting the record straight, Natasha aims to dispel the misconceptions surrounding the traditional beads and her relationship with Tuface. With this clarification, it remains to be seen how the public will respond to Natasha’s explanation and whether the controversy will finally be laid to rest.
