In light of the recent nationwide protests against the administration of President Bola Tinubu, Hon. David Olusegun Odunmbaku, the Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, has commended the residents for their commendable display of peace and calmness.
Acknowledging the economic hardships faced by the nation, Odunmbaku recognized that the high cost of living and other economic challenges have stretched many to their limits. However, he urged residents not to lose hope, emphasizing that the federal government’s policies are beginning to yield results and are paving the way for sustainable growth and development. He called for continued patience and cooperation from the public.
The Chairman assured the residents that the government is attentive to their demands and is working tirelessly to implement policies that will improve the living conditions of all citizens. He stressed the importance of maintaining peace and order during this period, cautioning against those who may seek to exploit the situation for looting or violence.
Odunmbaku appealed to the community to cooperate with government and security agencies, continue their daily activities peacefully, and avoid any disruptions.
“Let us all continue to cooperate with the government and security agencies to maintain peace and order as we attend to our normal businesses during the period of the protest,” he urged.
He concluded with a message of unity and goodwill, saying, “God Bless Ojodu LCDA, God Bless Lagos State, and God Bless Nigeria.”
