The ancient town of Oyo was aglow with cultural splendour as traditional rulers, dignitaries, indigenes, and well-wishers from across Nigeria and the diaspora gathered to witness the historic installation of the new monarch. His ascension to the throne as Alàṣẹ Ẹ̀kẹjì Òrìṣà (The Second-in-Command to the Deities) marks the continuation of a revered lineage of leadership, steeped in Yoruba heritage and spiritual authority.
