The executive members of the Nigerians In Diaspora Organisation (NIDO) Liberia Chapter has extended its congratulations to Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa on her appointment and confirmation as chairperson of Nigeria Diaspora Commission (NDC).
In its congratulatory letter, NIDO Liberia expressed its readiness to work in tandem with Hon. Abike’s office towards helping to overcome numerous challenges facing Nigerians in Diaspora.
The letter read as follows:
“We, the Executive Members of NIDO Liberia rejoice to congratulate you on your appointment and confirmation as Chairperson and CEO of Nigerians Diaspora Commission (NDC)
“We welcome this development and look forward to working along with your administration to overcome numerous challenges facing Diasporans, such as, invigoration of National Identity, Introduction of Absentee Balloting, Divisions, intimidation of Nigerians by host countries and strenous working relationships with Nigerian Embassies across the globe, to name a few.
“We wish you best of luck as we have full confidence – due to your wealth of experience – that your administration and tenure will work closely with various Continental and Chapter authorities to achieve Diaspora Commission goals and objectives”
