The stage is set for the highly anticipated 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) as Nigeria’s Super Eagles have been drawn into Group C. The group promises to be an exciting and competitive clash of footballing prowess, with Nigeria joined by Tunisia, Uganda and Tanzania.

The Super Eagles, three-time AFCON champions are regarded as one of the favorites in the tournament and will look to assert their dominance in a group that features a blend of strong football traditions and rising talents.

Nigeria (🇳🇬): Known for their attacking flair and rich history in African football, the Super Eagles aim to reclaim the coveted title, last won in 2013.

Tunisia (🇹🇳): The Carthage Eagles, one of Africa’s football powerhouses, bring experience and tactical discipline to the competition.

Uganda (🇺🇬): The Cranes are determined to make a mark, showcasing their growing football pedigree.

Tanzania (🇹🇿): The Taifa Stars add a dynamic touch to the group, aiming to upset the odds and advance beyond the group stage.

Fans and analysts alike are already anticipating thrilling encounters in Group C, with Nigeria and Tunisia likely to be favorites to progress. However, Uganda and Tanzania could spring surprises, making it a group to watch.

The 2025 AFCON, set to take place at Morrocco in December, promises to deliver electrifying moments as African nations vie for continental glory. For Nigeria, this group stage draw serves as the first step on the road to recapturing their place at the pinnacle of African football.
