The Super Eagles of Nigeria have lost the WAFU Cup final to the Black Stars of Ghana.
The WAFU Cup is a tournament for players who play within the domestic league of their countries. The home-based Super Eagles had high hopes of lifting the cup, having successfully defeated the team from Benin Repulic at the semi-finals.
However, the Super Eagles today lost 1 – 4 to Ghana in the final game.
