Ibadan – In a significant move, Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has reshuffled his cabinet, as announced in a statement released on Monday.
The Secretary to the State Government, Prof Olanike Adeyemo, has been relieved of her duties, effective immediately. The statement, issued by Sulaimon Olanrewaju, the Special Adviser on Media, confirmed the changes.
Prof Musibau Babatunde has been appointed as the new Secretary to the State Government. Additionally, Temilolu Ashamu has been reassigned from the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources to the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning.
Ademola Aderinto, the Senior Special Assistant on Public Works, has been nominated as a commissioner-designate and will be presented to the state House of Assembly for screening. The governor has also appointed Abiodun Adedoja as Special Adviser on Energy Security and Kolawole Elijah Akanmu as Senior Special Assistant on Budget and Economic Planning.
