President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended his warmest congratulations to former Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai, on the occasion of his 65th birthday.

El-Rufai, a founding member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), played a pivotal role in the formation of the ruling party and was instrumental in its victories in the 2015, 2019, and 2023 general elections. Recognizing his efforts in strengthening Nigeria’s democracy, President Tinubu praised his steadfast commitment to progressive ideals and his mentorship of emerging leaders.
Before serving two terms as the Governor of Kaduna State, El-Rufai held key positions in government, including as Director-General of the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE) and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) from 2003 to 2007.
