Yesterday in University of Uyo, Prof. Augustine Ogbonna while delivering his inaugural lecture, as a matter of fact the 102nd Inaugural lecture of the Institution with the topic: “From Barley to Sorghum: A Paradigm Shift in the Nigerian Brewing Industry, posited that Nigeria seem to be lagging behind in everything including beer consumption.

Reeling out the statistics, he recommended the consumption of 2 bottles per day for men and 1 bottle per day for women.

The erudite Professor did justice to the topic as it was a very lively and educative lecture.
