Abuja, Nigeria – Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the United States have petitioned the party’s National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, over alleged anti-party activities by Senator Ajibola Bashiru, APC National Secretary.

The petition according to our source, was signed by Prof. Adesegun Labinjo, National Chairman of APC-USA, and other executives. They accuses Sen. Bashiru of supporting an impostor, Tai Balofin, who claims to be the National Chairman of APC-USA.

Based on the petition, it was gathered that Tai Balofin was never a member of APC-USA but known for forming bogus support groups to deceive Nigerian politicians when elections is around the corner.

The APC-USA leaders alleged that Sen. Bashiru’s actions are divisive and undermine the party’s integrity. They demanded an investigation into Sen. Bashiru’s conduct and called for the National Working Committee to stop any planned congress with the impostors.

The petition also highlighted APC-USA’s contributions to the party many successes and calls for a serious investigation of the National Secretary who claims to be a PHD law but yet don’t know simple country’s constitution as it relates to party activities.
