Regarding a viral video showing popular Afrobeat singer Seun Kuti assaulting a police officer on the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos State, he has been arrested and currently being detained at the State Criminal Investigation Department – Panti, in Lagos, over alleged assault on a police officer.
Another video has surfaced online showing showing Seun in handcuffs while being paraded by police officers at SCID, the musician was accompanied by a lawyer representing Falana Chambers, a popular human rights activist Chamber, Femi Falana, SAN.
