The Madagascar football team nicknamed Barea has shocked the Nigerian Super Eagles by whipping them with 2 goals to nothing.
The Madagascar team which played with much flair and resolve scored their first goal through Lalaina Nomenjanahary in the 12th minute after poor defending by the Super Eagles.
They scored their second goal in the 53rd minute through a deflected free-kick taken by Charles Andriamatsinoro.
The Super Eagles who had initially started the encounter confidently, were left chasing the game but were unable to score during the encounter.
The result leaves Madagascar topping the group while the Super Eagles fall into second place.
The Super Eagles next match may be against either Cameroon or Ghana.
