The ongoing dispute between prominent billionaire businessman Femi Otedola and Jim Ovia, Chairman of Zenith Bank, has intensified, according to media reports .

The confrontation revolves around serious allegations of a multibillion naira fraud, which have placed both business magnates under significant scrutiny.

Femi Otedola has leveled accusations against Zenith Bank, claiming that in 2011, the bank unlawfully utilized the account of his company, Seaforce Shipping Limited, to engage in trading activities without his knowledge or consent.

This alleged unauthorized use of funds has sparked a fierce legal and public battle between the two influential figures.

The allegations brought forward by Otedola are currently under investigation by the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) of the Nigerian police.

Despite the severity of the claims, there are ongoing efforts to resolve the dispute through amicable negotiations, as both parties seek to avoid a protracted legal confrontation that could further damage their reputations and business interests.

As the investigation progresses, the business community and the public at large are keenly observing the developments in this high-stakes face-off.

The outcome of this dispute could have significant implications not only for the individuals involved but also for the broader financial and corporate sectors in Nigeria.
