2023 Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has affirmed that Bola Ahmed Tinubu may be sworn in as Nigeria’s next president on May 29. Obi is saying that even though the President elect is sworn in, he has not given up on reclaiming his allegedly stolen mandate stating that court will still obtain justice even after Tinubu may have succeeded President Muhammadu Buhari.
Three years after being sworn in, he reclaimed his mandate as Governor of Anambra State from Chris Ngige, also Emeka Ihedioha in Imo was asked to vacate for Hope Uzodimma and on and on. So, it’s not a big deal. When you go to court, you expect to get justice in court, and I have been citing examples of people who got justice in the Nigerian court system. We can’t just write them off. As for us, we trust them because our constitution doesn’t give us an option – spokesperson, Diran Onifade sighted.
