Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been officially sworn in as the 16th President and Commander-In-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The swearing in ceremony took place at Eagles Square Abuja, Tinubu took the oath of office in the presence of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Olukayode Ariwodola.
He was accompanied to the podium by his wife Oluremi Tinubu, outgoing President Muhammadu Buhari and the outgoing first lady Aisha Buhari.
While taking the oath of office, Tinubu promised to discharge his duties as President in line with the constitution of Nigeria, and to the best, officially.
