With hearts full of pride and joy, we, the sons and daughters of Agidi Ogun of Oje, Ibadan, descendants of Ojo Kure of Oja Oba Ibadan, and the entire Kure family, extend our deepest congratulations to His Royal Majesty, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, on the grand occasion of your ascension as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.

Kabiyesi Olubadan Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja before Inauguration

Your coronation, graced by eminent dignitaries from across Nigeria, including the distinguished presence of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR and revered traditional rulers such as the Sultan of Sokoto that marks a new chapter of glory for Ibadan and the Yoruba nation. Though the Ooni of Ife was engaged in the sacred Olojo Festival, his subsequent visit while you were still Oba-designate further underscores the respect and honor your throne commands.

Your legacy as a distinguished former Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and a beloved former Governor of Oyo State has set a golden foundation for this royal calling. The symbolic number 44, both your birth date and your royal position as the 44th Olubadan, stands as a divine seal upon your reign.

We, your proud kinsmen, look forward to paying you a courtesy visit at your convenience, to once again reaffirm our loyalty, love, and prayers for your reign.

Kí Adé pé Lórí, Kí Bàtà pé Lésè, Kí Ìgbà yín ó tù wá lára.
(Long may your crown flourish, may your steps be firmly guided, and may your reign bring peace and joy to us all.)

On behalf of Idile Agidi Ogun and Ile Kure of Ibadanland
