The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, on Wednesday formally inaugurated the party’s National Campaign Council for the forthcoming Ekiti State Governorship Election, signaling the commencement of intensified efforts to secure victory for the APC at the polls.

The inauguration ceremony, attended by members of the National Working Committee (NWC), senior party officials, elected representatives and key stakeholders, underscored the ruling party’s determination to consolidate its political dominance in Ekiti State ahead of the crucial governorship contest.

Addressing members of the Campaign Council, Prof. Yilwatda expressed appreciation for their willingness to serve the party in what he described as a critical national assignment. He noted that their acceptance of the responsibility reflects their unwavering commitment to the ideals and objectives of the APC.
The APC National Chairman said he was confident that the vast political experience, strategic insight, and dedication of the council members would significantly enhance the party’s campaign operations and strengthen its grassroots mobilization efforts across Ekiti State.

According to him, the National Campaign Council has been carefully constituted with accomplished party leaders and experienced political actors who possess the capacity to drive a robust, issue-based and people-oriented campaign capable of delivering another resounding electoral victory for the APC.
Prof. Yilwatda further emphasized that the composition of the council reflects the party’s commitment to inclusivity, unity, and collective success. He noted that the APC remains a broad-based political platform that values the contributions of all stakeholders and continues to promote teamwork as a foundation for electoral success.
He urged members of the council to work harmoniously, remain focused on the party’s objectives, and engage party faithful and voters across the state with the APC’s achievements, developmental agenda and vision for continued progress in Ekiti.
